Description:
We are in the process of developing a voter guide. As is often the case when we produce these, the question has arisen as to whether we should endorse candidates. Thus, I am taking a poll of the group to determine if our position has changed. Previously, we have said that we should evaluate candidates and rate them on how well they support our positions, but not officially endorse any one candidate. For more discussion on the pros and cons of the various options, please see the comments to this post.

Obama's Civilian Army

During the campaign, Obama promised to bring us a "civilian national security force that is just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded" as our nation's military and now he is trying to deliver (and then some) in perhaps the most scary piece of legislation to date.

Northern Virginia 912 condemns all forms of racism. It is a sad commentary that the NAACP chose to focus its resolution on an unproven, alleged incident related to a political opponent rather than condemning the true danger to race relations in this country.

Moran make a full of himself in this video. For starters, his statistic that Obama has created more jobs over the last 6 months than Bush did over 8 years is untrue and ignores the fact that most of the jobs that were created were temporary census worker jobs and that over the last 18 months we have stolen more than $2.2 trillion from our children.
