Preparing for Financial Disaster

Gain an understanding of how irresponsible the current economic policies are and what you can do to avoid personal disaster when the economy collapses.

We seek to assert and defend our God-given rights of retaining a free society dedicated to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Through outreach, education, and peaceful, focused action, we further seek to restore the principles, values, and integrity originally protected by our Constitution, including free enterprise.

Do you think that our group should endorse specific candidates for the 2010 elections?

Description:

We are in the process of developing a voter guide. As is often the case when we produce these, the question has arisen as to whether we should endorse candidates. Thus, I am taking a poll of the group to determine if our position has changed. Previously, we have said that we should evaluate candidates and rate them on how well they support our positions, but not officially endorse any one candidate. For more discussion on the  pros and cons of the various options, please see the comments to this post.

Obama's Civilian Army

During the campaign, Obama promised to bring us a "civilian national security force that is just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded" as our nation's military and now he is trying to deliver (and then some) in perhaps the most scary piece of legislation to date.

NoVA 912 Position on NAACP Resolution

Northern Virginia 912 condemns all forms of racism. It is a sad commentary that the NAACP chose to focus its resolution on an unproven, alleged incident related to a political opponent rather than condemning the true danger to race relations in this country.

Virginia Tea Party Patriots' Position on NAACP Resolution

Many black leaders are standing up to defend the Tea Party movement against the unwarranted attack from the NAACP.

Some Simple Facts About Kagan

The Post says that Kagan "defied Republican efforts to pigeonhole the type of Supreme Court justice she would be." Well perhaps she fooled the Republicans on the committee, but she is not fooling the common sense people of America. Some sample videos that spell it out pretty well in her own words:

Moran Making a Fool of Himself

Moran make a full of himself in this video. For starters, his statistic that Obama has created more jobs over the last 6 months than Bush did over 8 years is untrue and ignores the fact that most of the jobs that were created were temporary census worker jobs and that over the last 18 months we have stolen more than $2.2 trillion from our children.

Has Your Representative Supported the Repeal the Bill Legislation? Probably Not

Only one representative from Virginia (Goodlatte) has co-sponsored the effort the repeal the health care bill. So much for myth that Cantor and Wolf care about the Constitution...  The complete list follows with those that have co-sponsored the bill listed first:

Notes on Ken Cuccinelli's Update on Health Care Lawsuit

235 years after Patrick Henry gave his "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" speech, Virginia filed their suit against the health care act 1 mile away on the same street on which PH gave that speech.
